The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 和jordan peele是一个方向但是比后者精致太太多了，恐惧愤怒悲悯都令我颤抖。harper在树林里奔走、情不自禁笑出声我看到掉泪；对男人生产男人的滑稽血腥轮回一系列情绪转变与屏幕外的我完全同步。-What is it that you want from me? -Love. 最后我爆笑不止。
目前为止网飞大制作里面最好的一部，男女主之间没什么火花，但比鬼影特攻红色通缉令好不少
奇观炸裂！导演埋了好多细节，惊悚片能把“恐男”贯彻到这种程度也足够“高级”了，女主太适合这种creepy的调调……
这个卡司，居然可以拍得这么无聊，着实没想到。 除了布拉格大战能看，节奏真的有够烂。 本想着会有点不一样的惊喜，结果越到最后越烂。 肉搏戏也一股花拳绣腿味儿。

这片要是我在影院看真的会生气吧 但周六晚上打开奈飞随便看看似乎还算合理？
因为高司令和美队看的，开头有点看不进去，后面情节就越来越好了，倒也没评论说的那么差，换了很多国家的场景，比D+出的网大质量好，在列车上打斗的那段看的肾上腺素飙升，最后结局很意外😂😂

一种男性视角的女权主义，女导演拍片子可能不会把女主角放到如此任人摆布而不会反抗的田地
又是中情局高层出卖自己特工，过河拆桥杀人灭口的戏码？美队的小胡子不错！
不值得花时间看。故事老套逻辑莫名其妙，画面没啥美感演员自己可能都觉得无趣。
用各种方式来隐喻男人对女人的迫害。最后一段男生男的连环套是全片亮点了，暗示男人都是一脉相承的，虽然他们表现出来不同的方式迫害女性，归根起来都是想要统治、控制女性。我作为一个男人，觉得父权社会是这样的。我们这个社会需要的是平权，不是女权。
合格的爆米花，动作戏不错，高司令加分。角色都很单薄全靠演员撑，从故事到运镜都很好莱坞模板。
译名《人》不准确，是《男人》，恐男片。氛围有，惊吓无。

当时看完预告片很期待，前半部分也很到位，但我真的很后悔很家属一起看这个片..现在两个人很下头很扫兴，奉劝情侣不要一起看
中间的追逐战让我又有重回谍影重重的激动。可惜的是后续的动作戏等招或者说喂招的意图过于明显，明显这部戏有复制伯恩的野心，动作戏在这种地方功亏一篑太可惜了，但本片仍然是继疾速追杀系列外最值得期待的动作系列作品，毕竟结局给出的续集意味太过明显。还要说一下演员的表现，瑞恩·高斯林合格，女特工很飒，埃文斯表现也非常好，看不到美国队长的影子就是成功。小女孩美丽惊艳，可惜演技稚嫩，未来期望有更好的表现。等续集了！
从头到尾的cliché. 哒哒哒哒沙沙沙沙，这么好的卡司，全部浪费。你哪怕显示一点点暴力美学呢？完全没有。
