The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 真实事件改编，借一次所谓的恐怖事件，反映当时南非的种族黑暗……影片的细节刻画也很出色，人性的种种令人唏嘘。
这对那个“光辉岁月”的南非，是完全必要且正确的。从对自由的孤注一掷，到斯德哥尔摩综合症化的群体共情和高呼自由，不但不是免费，而且付出的代价是一切。无论这个非典型“打劫”银行事件，是不是对南非真有这么重要，至少电影以紧凑的节奏，拍出振聋发聩的激情，让人信服它的重要性。

只能说一句，导演牛X~~~自由的代价大到超乎你的想象
其实改编的不错，虽然三个人人物设计有所重合，但是整体上各个人以及各个人的角色产生了一定的平衡，只有平衡才能让事件情节完整地推进下去并使得屏幕里的这场劫持让人相信。
这片子评分有点低啊，个人赶脚挺不错的，黑与白，自由，人类，演员演技也不错
作为少数不被认同的群体也许会很艰难吧

男主虽然很帅，但是因为希望有家庭有孩子甚至有孙子，才和女主交往，真的太伤人了，看的我非常来气，如果想要做homo拜托不要伤害喜欢你的人
小翅膀把一个渣男演的又甜又老实让人有一点向往是怎么回事（x），尺度戏也很到位，不错不错。男主该说是角色设定不讨喜还是演技问题呢，反正我觉得就是块木头，翅膀配他可惜了。。。。。。（勿杠你对）
