The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 故事如果完美展现具有一定的难度，实际完成得马马虎虎，我最不喜欢的部分是每个角色都有近乎“完美”的人设，但到了最后全部被拍成了“有用”，这是现在写人的最大弊端，林日朗所做一切只是为了最后捐心的反转，灰色地带的女记者变成了查案工具，绑架案里的孕妇一定是被先释放或者先站在绑匪一方的人，加入了太多七七八八的元素，支线、喜剧等等，只是为了商业影片的有用。有用就能卖钱，无用会变成看不懂，再一次培养了如今的观众口味。
翻拍还拍的这么烂，也就骗骗那些看电影少的人吧。
现实意义巨大，但是没有拍出预想的效果，浅浅谈一下现实意义吧:正如电影中奶奶所言“医生说要用，电视上也说这个安全，国家也说它安全……那它就是安全的啊！”是啊！最后的推诿扯皮很真实，门口人山人海也很真实，但是——真实而无用。
觉得不合理的情节太多了，我没法共情，剧里的人是怎么做到一会冷漠一会正义的。
挺好看的，不懂为何评分只有6.0，应该能有7.5的。
不是续集？？？这和误杀有什么关系？？？误杀就是误杀，迫在眉梢就是迫在眉梢，非要搞得不伦不类，连导演都换了……因为内地观众人傻钱多就使劲地骗咯。
“有时候，死亡也是一种胜利。”写出这样的台词，我真不知道该不该谢谢电影的编剧。什么样的国家，什么样的政权控制下的民众能说出这样卑微的话。用死亡去换取胜利，用一代又一代的人心脏去供给一群人、一群家族、一个阶层的生命？哪里发生这样的故事？是虚构的新曼，是遥远的泰国。
小孩子移植的是心脏，就算是成人的，也完美匹配；

被肖央圈粉，他还真适合演个又平凡又窝囊的小狠人～话说为啥都要设定在泰国呢？？两个女演员略嫩，不如第一部那么霸气不可侵犯。那个鬼面具是谁？？
肖央的角色质感真好，细节和眼神让人信服入戏，恍惚中有一丝宋康昊的既视感。任达华出场那种香港老电影的气场依然。故事刚开始的无助感很强，前期积累的压抑让人对主角他们的困境逐渐共情，期待他们绝处逢生，之后一次次反转，是一种困兽犹斗的决绝悲壮，观影体验很好，内心只希望林日朗能够成功。逼着好人“犯罪”，到底什么才是真的恶？
文咏珊的素颜有点可怕。催谷观众情绪的手段很像《沉默的真相》。逻辑上有很大问题，大梗在plan B，可是林日朗是如何事先得知plan A无法实行的，故事里并没有给出让人信服的交代，至于导演在结尾彩蛋里搞出的plan C就更是贻笑大方了。
剧本还是不错，就是表现太重了，每一场戏都想要你哭，不哭不是好观众。好累
「当你看过一千部电影，你就会觉得这个世界上根本没有什么离奇的事情」——包括续集和正作毫无关联，取个毫无关联的电影名只为硬凑热度这种事。
肖央连扑两部，误杀2和谁是凶手，误杀1和人潮汹涌积攒的好感荡然无存，这部从台词到剧情都烂的可以，台词又直白又尬，演技总体不咋地，女记者最差，这么老套的故事真的没有拍的必要，强行煽情，一把假枪骗了整个泰国，这种故事好像2000年以后就没看到过了，梗太老了，肖央真的可以尝试下其他类型角色，你的绝望悲伤崩溃麻木每部都一模一样，真的好失望啊，没想到这么差，第一部有多惊艳这部就有多失望

电影传达的价值观是：袭医凶手的老婆因为没有救治机会而死亡，所以凶手认为医生该死，但男主让他意识到医生其实是一个好人，所以他决定不杀医生了……但如果没有这件事，可能医生并不知道自己为什么会被杀……看完只觉得毛骨悚然……
